The Story

Born from lived experience not theory

Allowance did not begin as a method or a program. It began in the quiet, uncertain places of two lives — in seasons of loss, searching, and slow return. What Joseph and Leo offer today grew from what they walked through themselves, long before they ever thought of sharing it.

Every ceremony, conversation, and gathering carries that lineage. Nothing here is borrowed from a textbook; it is shaped by what was felt, tested, and allowed to unfold over time.

A Journey Shaped By Experience & Transformation

Joseph’s path moved through burnout, grief, and the long work of coming home to himself. Along the way he found that healing rarely arrived through force — it came through stillness, nature, and the willingness to stop resisting what was already here.

Today he holds space for others with the same patience he once needed, guiding ceremonies and conversations that invite people to slow down and listen inward.

I didn't find healing — I allowed it to find me.

A Journey Shaped By Experience & Transformation

Leo came to this work through art, movement, and the body. Years of creative practice taught him that what we cannot yet say in words often finds its way out through breath, gesture, and story.

He brings a grounded, curious presence to every gathering — helping people meet themselves with honesty, softness, and a sense of play.

The moment we stop performing, something real can begin.

Where Their Paths Meet

Two individual stories, held in the
same open field.

Though Joseph and Leo arrived from different directions — through different disciplines, different losses, different revelations — they found themselves standing in the same clearing. Both had learned, in their own way, that the resistance is the suffering and the allowance is the way through.

Lived Experience

Everything they share has been walked first — offered with humility, not as expertise from a distance.

Creative & Somatic Roots

Ceremony, art, and the body become gentle doorways into what the mind alone cannot reach.

The Name Itself

Allowance is a practice of permission — letting life move through us rather than holding it at arm's length.
